AFP yesterday reported that Turkey was down 35% foreign visitors in May, the highest decline in 22 years. This is the result of several terrorist attacks targeting tourists in Turkey. Not only Turkey, many countries have been experiencing terrorism situation.

Tourism brings nearly 30 billion
euros / year for Turkey, 4% of GDP and help ensure 8% of workers employed in this sector. However, travelers are increasingly reduced due to fears of terrorism.

Turkish Ministry of Tourism noted since the beginning of the year, the number of visitors fell by 23%, at most Russian tourists. Turkish government has announced financial support programs to revive tourism.
