In Korea, this year predicted the cherry blossoms will bloom
earlier than normal from 3 to 5 days, the South will bloom first, then
gradually to the north. Seogwipo on Jeju Island will be the first with cherry
blossoms (20/3 days), followed by the South Korea (24 - 31/3), the Korean
Central Region will cherry pick from 1 to 10/4, and the northern provinces of
Gyeonggi, Gangwon-do will be the cherry after 10/4.
In Japan, cherry blossoms bloom early when it can be warm,
late blooming when it's cold, even brutal early due to rain. However, the first
flowers bloom normally in Okinawa in January, and gradually spread to the
central region (including Kyoto and Tokyo) around the end of March, early
April, before the visit northern Hokkaido in early May . this year, according
to the Japan Meteorological Association, the country will welcome the flowering
season earlier than usual, around 26/3 in Tokyo, Kyoto and Hiroshima 29/3 and
9/4 in North Sendai.
